Survey exchange for students

Research behind a final thesis needs real respondents. Here students fill in each other’s questionnaires: every questionnaire you fill in earns points, and points pay for listing your own Google Forms questionnaire.

We do not host questionnaires and do not see the answers. Every questionnaire stays with its author.

Questionnaires to fill in

Fill in someone else's questionnaire, earn points and spend them on listing yours.

How it works

  1. Fill in another questionnaire

Pick a questionnaire by language and field, open it in a new tab and answer honestly. You confirm the fill after a minimum time.

  2. Earn points

Each accepted fill earns 1 point for every started 5 minutes of the questionnaire, at most 30 points a week. Points are not money.

  3. List your own questionnaire

Add the link to your Google Forms form, confirm four statements and pay 5 points or 5 Credits. Your listing is visible for 30 days.

  4. The order cannot be bought

Listings are ordered by the points the author earned in the last 30 days. You can close your questionnaire at any time.

Frequently asked questions

Is the survey exchange free?

Filling in other people’s questionnaires is free and earns points. Listing your own costs 5 points, which you earn by filling in questionnaires, or 5 Credits. Points are not money and cannot be bought or exchanged for Credits.

How do points work?

An accepted fill earns 1 point for every started 5 minutes of the questionnaire’s estimated length, at least 1 point. You can earn at most 30 points a week, and listing costs 5 points. Points have no cash value, cannot be sold or transferred and lapse when the account is deleted. If a fill turns out to be invalid, the points are taken back.

Which questionnaires are allowed?

Only a link to a Google Forms form (docs.google.com/forms or forms.gle) for non-commercial academic research, meant for adults. The form must open with its own notice on the processing of personal data and must not ask about health, religion, political opinions or other special categories of data. Commercial surveys and the collection of contacts are forbidden.

How do I report an unsuitable questionnaire?

Every listing has a button to report it, available without signing in. A person assesses the report. We tell the author of the listing the result with reasons, and the reasons also go to a person who was signed in when they gave the report. To an address that somebody merely typed into the form we send only what was decided and the means of redress. The Rules of the survey exchange describe how we proceed.

How many answers will I get?

Nobody guarantees a number of answers or how fast they arrive. The exchange runs on reciprocity: the more questionnaires of others you fill in, the higher your listings are shown. Respondents are mostly students, so this is a convenience sample and not a representative one. Describe its limits in your research.
